Holiday Palette {Decor}

Sorry for the lack of posts lately! It's been a bit busy, and today I am actually writing to you all from my iPad on my afternoon off because I am sick. So since I haven't been able to get all crafty (maybe that's why I am sick... Glitter withdrawals) I decided to just show you all some pretty pictures that have inspired by Christmas/holiday color palette.

Do you love changing it up every year or are you more of a "let's do what we did last year" kinda person? The past 2 years I've done the silver/teal thing. I added some red last year. Three years ago I did the purple/pink/lime palette (think jewel tones and less Lisa Frank), so this year I wanted something very monochromatic, glam, but simple. Last year I browsed through blogs for inspiration, but this year I went where everyone else is going. Pinterest!

Two weeks ago if you would have asked me what my theme/palette was going to be, I would have said peacock. But no... I decided on this (all photos link directly to source):

Shades of gold & silver. But, Monica can’t just stop there… She needs another color to add some interest:

Bold.

We’ll see how it all turns out. I’m going to start with making wreaths first since I have about 4-5 of them to make. Yeesh! Here are some creative, easy DIY projects I’ll likely be tackling this holiday season:

What’s your color palette this year? Do you use sites like Pinterest to gather ideas and get organized?

I’m sniffling away, so I’m off to take more meds. Talk to you all again soon! xoxo.
